Nope. It's not the 4th of July. We were ohhhhh-ing and ahhhhh-ing driving through subdivisions looking at Christmas lights. Surprisingly, there weren't as many colorful displays as we thought. But, of the ones we did find there were some worthy of recognition.
Can you imagine how long it would take to put all these lights up???? And Dad commented too, how long to take them down, roll them up and store them? The tubs of lights we have are really heavy and what I thought was a lot of lights...nothing compared to this display!!! Amazing.
On a much less spectacular level...this morning, on the edge of the pond in the front of the village Mom spied this specimen....basking in the sun. Sooooo.....that could be the reason there are warnings not to feed the alligators, and supervise children near the ponds! Indeed.
It's sure different than in Michigan!!!
