And as I write this, a cold front is sweeping into Florida, lowering the balmy temperatures to more like what we would have in MI in the Fall of the year, which I have to confess, suits us better. Hopefully the temperatures won't drop to freezing. It would be sad for the oranges, and the pretty winter flowers and foliage to be damaged. I have in mind to try my hand at canning tangerines as soon as enough of them get ripe on the tree in the back yard. Kristie, I'm still at it!!!! Thinking of you. :-)
Today I made 2 loaves of bread and turkey noodle soup. It all tasted pretty good and it seems good to be doing the things I would be doing at home....making noodles, and bread and cooking meals. Getting exercise outside walking Gilbert too, since dogs have to be leashed here. Even if it wasn't the rule I'd not let my little companion roam freely...that big 'gator that relaxes in the sun can show up on our end of the village just as easily as in front and he'd make lunch of my little dog in a heart beat. At least that's the impression I get from the warning that is on the Village TV station announcing that children need to be supervised in and around the ponds! It should include the pool too, since a 'gator had to be extracted from the pool last year. And my mom had the nerve to ask if I brought my swim suit! Not a chance!!! LOL

Grandpa looks so handsome with his bells! Give him a hug and kiss for me, please.
Keep that puppy on a TIGHT leash for sure. He would make a great snack. Is he still doing ok?
I made my bread today. It didn't turn out that great. It's flat and dry. I don't know. I have a new recipe to try but it calls for your house to be at a warm temp. That aint happening here right now. So I think I'll have to wait on that one but it sounds like it would go with soup really good. It's called Rustic crusty bread. Yummy! I'll let you know if it gets done.
PS... I'm glad to see this up and running again. Love the pictures.
