Changing focus for a bit...

While Emma is in the hospital, her siblings are toughing it out at Grandpa and Grandma's. Mudpies and Let's Pretend are the order of this day...

Friday was more of the same, but cut a little bit short as we bathed early to be ready when the call came that Emma was out of Surgery / Recovery and headed back to her room....

Saturday we headed off to town. An early morning call (not too early) alerted us to the Pet Parade and continuing Sidewalk sales. That fit into our need to go into town for a few necessities and suitable clothes for Sunday. Fashion conscious Mia was mortified to think she'd have to appear at church in casual clothes. And that's OK. Glad she has such standards. We did enjoy the pet parade. It was with Jenny in mind that we include .....

And the girls got a good laugh from some of the dressed up pets....

There was a hampster, guinea pigs, a hermit crab!!! Lots to see. We shopped, had Happy Meals, visited Bailey's WaterCare street station, had Elephant ears, and headed home.

After some quiet time for Anna and Mia, and Claira had some special time just with Grandpa, the girls rejoined one another back at the Mud Pie Station. If dirt means fun...They had their share!

We pray Emma is recovering quickly. We miss her!!!
XOXOXOXO
Grandpa and Grandma
